THE POWER OF HOPE: Journey of Renuka's Creation

Twelve years ago, Renuka’s life changed forever. A gas leakage accident left her with severe burns. The pain wasn’t just physical, it was emotional too. She spent four months in the hospital, fighting to recover. “Burn injuries are not like other accidents,” she says. “You feel pain in your body, your mind, and your heart all at once,” she says.

After leaving the hospital, Renuka struggled to adjust to life. Determination led her to BVS Nepal and Astitwa Nepal, organizations that provide counseling and training for burn survivors. “The sessions there changed my life,” Renuka recalls. “I met other women who had been through the same thing. Seeing their strength gave me hope”.

The Birth of Renuka's Creation

During one of the training sessions, an idea sparked in her mind. She wanted to use her skills to start something new — something that would help her and many many others like her. After four years of hard work, Renuka’s Creation was born.

Renuka’s Creation is a platform for burn survivors to showcase their talent and skills and earn a living. The products are handmade with love and care.
